Children who are born this year (2013) will be college-age 20 years from now (2033). They will grow up in a time that is immersed in the demands of technology, expects instant results, and wants more produced with less. Post-high school institutions of learning will feel the effects of these new realities and the pressure to keep-up with the demand.

OCBSICT is in the process of developing a new strategic plan to anticipate the inevitable changes ahead. The institution's Management, through its President and members of the senate, has launched an inclusive strategic planning process that began with a series of conversations with alumni, students, staff, parents, trustees, and the broader community; dubbed Vision 2030.

The plan intends to look into the current trends in demand of education, the changing trends in technology, the expectations of the upcoming generations and the position of the environment in its place to provide space for the accommodation of the global population that is in the rise. The outcome of the research shall be consolidated into the strategic plan to inform the direction that the institution shall take towards achieving the vision 2030.
